This week, 116 Year 10 students took part in the Online Junior Physics Challenge from the British Physics Olympiad.

The Junior Physics Challenge is designed to engage and challenge students of all abilities by offering them a range of problems to solve. Although most of the questions were based around the current GCSE curriculum, there were also questions based on general knowledge in physics as well as practical work from lessons. The key aim is that students enjoy taking part and are encouraged to do more physics.

We are incredibly proud of all our students who showed great effort and resilience to take part in such a challenging competition.

We were delighted to have 27 Silver award winners and 85 Bronze award winners. All students were awarded with a certificate, and our Silver award winners were also treated with a free meal voucher.
